What is a Gauge Protector?
The Regular Gauge Protector is designed to shield gauges and transducers from contamination by fluids flowing through the lines. It features glycol fluid on the gauge side of the protector gasket, which ensures optimal functionality of the gauge and transducer. This setup enables accurate readings, allowing you to operate your equipment at peak performance with confidence and reliability. This gauge protector does not protect against spikes in pressure.
The Heavy Duty Gauge Protector is designed with the same protection against contamination as the regular gauge protector but it has a small micro-port that allows for an extra level of protection for the gauge and or sensors, against major pressure spikes.
